1: DOWNTOWN WITH A DIFFERENCE :: Rates ::
An Urban Adventure

Downtown San Diego is constantly evolving. Our downtown walking tour takes you beyond the typical tourist destinations to discover new and unusual sights. During this 2-hour urban adventure, we stroll through fascinating landmarks like the East Village, the historical Gaslamp Quarter, Seaport Village and the neighboring marina on San Diego Bay. We go back in time to the early 1900’s, when the downtown was known as the Stingaree District as we visit an outdoor museum that reveals both the historical and hysterical stories of the brothels, saloons and gambling halls of days gone by. Additional highlights include a behind-the-scenes look at the new ballpark and a tropical-themed spa.
Our tours are all about having fun so we encourage all our guests to turn off their cell phones and pagers and turn on their spirit of adventure. We provide bottled water, snacks, giveaways and plenty of surprises. There are no steep hills on this tour and it is done at an easy pace. We recommend guests wear comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and a hat or visor to protect them from the sun. Children must be at least 12 years old.
