Downtown with a Difference
An Urban Adventure
Downtown San Diego is constantly evolving. We take you beyond the typical tourist destinations to discover new and unusual sights. During this 2-hour urban adventure, we stroll through fascinating landmarks like the East Village, the historical Gaslamp Quarter, Seaport Village, Encinitas, Coronado and the neighboring marina on San Diego Bay. We go back in time to the early 1900’s, when Downtown was known as the Stingaree District. Some of the highlights include an outdoor museum that reveals both the historical and hysterical stories of the brothels, saloons and gambling halls of days gone by.
La Jolla Shores
Stroll the Mediterranean-like La Jolla coastline, glittering with Mother Nature’s most beautiful creations. Plus, see rewarding man-made wonders like the Scripps Institute of Oceanography. We can also add lunch and transportation to this experience.
Windansea & Hidden Gems in La Jolla
The surroundings are spectacular and people often compare La Jolla to the Mediterranean. On this adventure, you’ll experience colorful neighborhoods that are off-the-beaten path, along with one-of-a-kind coastal views that are the playground of the California Seals and Sea Lions.
UCSD’s Public Art Plus A Secret Beach
The campus at UC San Diego has tree covered paths and one of a kind public art. This is a 4.5 mile easy going walk that shows off the campus and a nearby secret beach. We can also include a brief stop for a meal on campus approximately an hour into the walk.
